Our cosmetology course incorporates 1,500 hours of extensive hands-on learning to provide you a complete understanding of beauty and wellness. Upon completion, you'll be prepared for a career as a hair stylist or technician, makeup artist or as salon owner. Your cosmetology training will include: l Theory knowledge, the foundation of your education l Practical experience, the application of your knowledge l Professional business-building skills, vital for your success   Student Instructor 650 HOURS - Texas 1000 HOURS - Oklahoma A study of the principles of teaching both manual skills and theory skills to basic cosmetology, manicure, facial and shampoo students. Upon completion of this course, the student instructor shall have demonstrated competencies required to pass the State Board Examination and the ability to: l Work in a licensed cosmetology school as an entry-level instructor l Theory classes in all aspects of cosmetology, manicuring, skin care and shampooing l Supervise clinic floor work l Test and evaluate student progress l Council students work performance l Write lesson plans l Enroll students, figure time cards, do hour sheets, keep attendance, etc. l Other assigned job duties Possible Career Choices...
